Dan Adams introduced everybody to Mrs. Hemphill. Mike Lyon, who kept nice and warm that day, stands behind her.

We had a cast bronze plaque made for the pavilion and showed it to Mrs. Hemphill for the first time. See the movie clip at the bottom of the page. I cut the top of Dan's head off in the photo... sorry Dan!

Dan Adams, a good friend of Lou, authored the wording on the plaque. Nobody could have said it better. We will mount the plaque in the very near future, and may try to do something a bit more formal for a dedication.
