ATM archives

I use the archives a LOT and I find them mostly very responsive. There
are times when there is a marked slow down(like yesterday afternoon).
Response was very slow. However, that could have been due to local
traffic. I agree with others that the length of postings is often TOO
long due to including entire messages with the response. There are times
when I receive the same text many times due to several responses that
each include the whole thing.  I would prefer a small clip from the
original if the original is lengthy or no inclusion at all. My
2 cents worth.
