No. Oops, what I mean is altitude bearing. I'm want to make it of steel
bars, about 0.3 cm x 2 cm dimension. I'm not thinking about casting the
steel, I'm going to ask the welder to make two half circle altitude
bearing by cutting, bending and welding the bars. Will this altitude
bearing be too heavy? My guess is that it won't be too heavy.

BTW, the tailgate has finished and it looks strong and nice, and it's
not heavy, the weight is only 2.4 kg (the dimension of the tailgate is
37 x 29 cm).
