A question to the group.  Is this everyone's experience with the
archives?  I can understand those outside of the country, and AOL users,
having speed problems that are out of my control... but if everyone is
having the same slowness, then I need to check into it.

thread.html for August98.  It takes about 4 seconds for the server to
start sending the results of a search back to me... and even a common
word like "grind" only takes 40 seconds to search and download the
resulting 194kb html file.
