ATM atm formica

  I recently got a part time job doing construction clean up and i keep 
running across fairly large pieces of formica .  you wouldnt believe the 
goodies that get thrown. . My question, is the formica used for dob's, 
special or is the kitchen countertop stuff the same? I will be building a 
dob mount in the near future and would like to know weither to use the 
scrap stuff or not
