        I'm not sure about the lead glass ash tray, but if the glides are
not tempered, you might make something out of them. Take a polarizing
filter, a strong directional light, and shine it through the glass. If the
glass was tempered, you will see some very pretty rainbow colored lines on
the glass. I would place my money on the glass being tempered if it was
designed to have furniture sitting on it. If that is the case, you would be
financially better off buying a regular blank in a small size.
