At the risk of sending Bratislav into some unfavourable trajectory, I say:
"You are right".

Here's why:

You said 'low power'.  You don't need a super precision cell to observe well
at low power.  You will not notice a thin mirror flexing at less than 50 to
100x, is my guess.  Now, if you mirror is only 10 mm thick, it is another
story.

Richard Schwartz [sp?] - see archives - has been inventing 4,5,6,7 and 8
point cells.  You may wish to correspond with him to design a 4 point cell
for your purposes.  I hope Richard won't mind me loading him up with work.
