Tim,

I got an evaluation copy of designwave V3 from
http://www.ptc.com/designwave/
The evaluation copy is a  full working version that expires thirty days
after installation. Designwave differs from a typical 3D type of program
like autocad in that one starts with a solid model then produce a
drawing. A task like putting a hole though a solid is easy, whereas in
autocad with surfaces its a somewhat difficult task.
