I am working on removing TDE from a 10" mirror. I have been using short strokes, MOT. I also have a 6" tool and am wondering how I might use it to accelerate the process. The Ronchi test show a shpere to 2" from the edge. Then there is a raised zone that drops sharply into the TDE. Ideas? Richard IBM San Jose, Storage Systems Disk Characterization and Materials
