ATM Ronchi gratings

Hi Guys,

I looked for information on Ronchi gratings in the ATM archives and
found a PostScript program to print the gratings.
My question is: how do I use this program? I have a GhostScript program,
but I do not know how to write the ronchi grating program. Do I rewrite
the PS program? Can I just copy the program and then paste it in to the
GS? How do I do it?

I opened the GS, it has a GS prompt (GS>). I wrote the first line of the
program, click Enter, and the GS prompt appeared again. How should I
write the program? FYI, I know so little about computer programing. 

The second question. I made a Ronchi screen by drawing the lines using
Paint Shop (boy it's not easy) and print it on a transparent sheet. And
then last night I did a Ronchi test. I'm a little confuse about the
placement of the screen. ShouId I place the screen in front of the light
source or just place it anywhere as long as it intersects the reflected
light from the mirror?
