And other ATMers, like Mel Bartel, Ron R, Richard Schwartz, to name a
few. Those people invented something and never patented their
invention. The way I see it, Mel's alt-az drive can easily be patented
or Richard's cell design (I'm not familiar with US law so please no
legal arguement here) , but they didn't do it. They share it with the
world. David Bevel show us how to modify a Hubblelite into a green flash
light. He could've kept it for himself and sell green flashlight instead
of sharing the idea with the world.
Most ATMers do not keep ideas for themselves, when they invent
something, or find a better way to do something, they share it with the
world. To tell you the truth this was something that surprised me. Well,
this list is full of noble people. God bless them all.
