If this subtle, yet unmistakable comparison can be perceived with visual use,
does it also show up in ccd/photographic comparisons? One would think
that being able to visually discern this kind of difference would not be be purely
a subjective response.  Of course, I realize that no imaging device (none that
I'm aware of, anyway) duplicates human vision EXACTLY. So until there is, a
quantification of this phenomenon may have to wait ;-)
