ATM Hello All

Hello every one. I am very new to telescope making and using, (I have not made one yet)
and I have no Idea where to began. I have a department store refractor (read piece of
junk). My problem is that I wear glasses and I am unable to see even the moon very
clearly. I get a severe key hole effect through my little scope. I guess my question is
what would be the best telescope project for me not only for my skill level, none, but,
also one that allows the best viewing for a person with glasses. I am very handy with
wood working tools, welding, and even have experience with fiberglass and other composite
materials however; I know next to nothing about mirror polishing, coating, and the like.
Money, within reason, is not a problem. Any information Ya'll, I'm from Texas, could
give would be greatly appreciated. Once again I feel it a privilege to be a part of this
mailing group. Thank you.
