I agree wholeheartedly!  When you start regrinding on a mirror, you
immediately reduce it's value to that of a glass blank.  If the mirror is
usable at all, far better to sell it and realize it's full value.  If the
figure isn't very good, you're still far better off to refigure it until
it's good and then sell it, and buy a blank to make your new mirror.
