Apparently I deleted the original post so am responding to yours. Using 
kinematic design, 3 points will describe a reference point of rotation. 
The diagonal needs to be centered on this circle (more correctly the 
optical axis needs to be centered on the centered diagonal - but of 
course the level of collimation required is left to the user ;-) ). 
There is also a tilt component of the reference circle with respect to 
the primary. 
Compared to a Springfield mounted refractor, this system should be 
relatively easy.<G> Make sure to have enough degrees of adjustment to 
allow the needed movement.
