Great idea!  I'll have to try this.

I could be wrong but I don't think the reflections were off of the
inside of the barrel of the gun site.  It appeared that they used a
wedged shape lens.  I get a bright LED reflection off of the main
reflection surface of the lens and then I get a dimmer LED reflection
off of the other surface.  Did you see anything like this?
