I donīt see any advantage using either end grain balsa or nomex
honeycomb. If you use them for a tube, there wonīt be much radial
forces (honeycomb or the end grain balsa are good to stand pressure, but
not to flexure). What you want is the minimum longitudinal flexure, so I
think common balsa would be better (or am I totally wrong?- please tell
me, cause Iīm planning to build a tube, too!)
