ATM Carbon vs. Glass fiber for tube

  If you're looking for a quick and cheap solution, just put one layer of
"282" on the outside of your "thin paper tube" will get you very far.  The
interior could be coated with blackend resin.  Have some extra tubes around
and experiment a little to see how it turns out.  You can order carbon
cloth from any of the "homebuilt aircraft" suppliers like Aircraft Spruce
and Specialty in Fullerton, CA.  Heck I'll send you some "584" 10 oz cloth
cheap.
