I wanted to remind the gentleman who asked about spiders that it's not hard
to make a very good one yourself. Check out my web page for a simple
design that works excellently and costs practically nothing.
For quality commercial spiders however, I would recommend either Novak
(seems to be the standard of the industry) or the new Protostar spider. I
have used Novak spiders for years on some scopes, and have also seen the
new Protostar design, and it seems to be excellent.
