ATM The Sky (& Telescopes)

I have a question concerning TheSky software, and its use with encoders.
I am running TheSky on a Sharp PC, with a serial link to a C8 and Celestron
Astromaster. All links up well. But when initializing TheSky, I can seem
to get the right combination to align the display with the direction my
telescope is pointing. The Help screens don't provide much help on this.
I have been using Altair and Vega to align ... I'm reasonably close on the
Astromaster (Warp 0 to .3) but on TheSky I end up between 20 and 25 degrees
off.

Any advice ... can anyone give me the details on alignment procedure? Is
this in the help screens and I just haven't found it yet??

Thanks
