ATM Still problem polishing !!

Hi...  

I am stil having problem polishing my 8".

Total polish time now is about 5-6 hours.  And I always have this 
greyish sleek over my mirror.  I have tried to wash it off but it 
just wont go :(   Because of this the mirror don't reflect enough 
light from my tester when its dry  (wich is by the way not 
completed yet).

How should I have the cerium oxide mixture, should I stop my
machine to add more to the center of the tool (I am polishing MOT)
or is it enough to add more to the side with the machine running?
How much should I add each time ??  Do you add just water to 
prolong the wet ???
