I just bought some 12" tube from a local irrigation pipe supply house. I 
walked in asked 'em how much for the tube in 20ft. lengths and then asked 
'em if they would give me the 20ft. price on a 5ft.-7ft. section if they 
had it -- they said "sure." The 6ft. section cost me $16.92. I didn't 
think it was too bad, it seemed they were happy to get rid of some of the 
scrap tubing/pipe they had laying in storage. Good luck.
