Bad form to follow-up my own message, but I should mention the
following factors, which would affect any thoughtful answer:

1. The mirror is destined for a Newtonian, with the possibility of 
   a convertable scope later.

2. I've never made a mirror before.

3. Due to circumstances beyond my control, all figuring will have
   to be done fully clothed.
