This was tried many years ago & there was an article in S+T about it,
the guy used Mylar to cover the slot of his observatory & was able
to stay warm in the winter. I tried the stuff with my 16" Cass & found the
scatter around bright objects to be unacceptable.

I still have some of the Mylar sheet, it's 4' wide & should be shipped
rolled up. If anyone wants to play with it send a prepaid mailer tube
as long as the width you want.
