  This reminds me of a similar question I've had: If you were going to
  make a scope with 60" of focal length, and you wanted to optimise
  for planetary viewing, what would you choose for mirror size? Say
  you had to choose between a 12" f/5, 10" f/6, 8" f/7.5, 6" f/10, and
  a 5" 5/12.
