On reflection, I want to see if others here like the ideas I'm proposing for TM, so I'm forwarding my original email to Astronomy to here. Or maybe some of you you want to use this a springboard for expressing your own ideas on TM. I really love the issues I have and would never think of parting with them.

I've been following the rumors of republishing TM on the Internet. I bought all the back issues of TM I could when I heard about this magazine. Unfortunately, I had not been active as a ATMer while the magazine was struggling along (before it was cancelled). When I heard about the back issues of TM (through a flyer from Kalmbach, I believe), I was VERY interested. Unfortunately, by the time I heard of it, half the issues were already out of print. I would love an oppportunity to get those 10-15 missing issues. Getting those back issues has rekindled my interest and use of my scope. As a result, I now am buying parts to build a 12.5" and looking into CCD's. I mention this because I think your advertisers and you should be aware that this magazine and news of it's availablity would result in profits for you and them. In short, I think you should ask the advertisers in the magazine to help defray your re-publishing costs and/or advertise their availablity. Also, why not add a flier with advertisements from firms when people order the back issues. Doing so would help all of us who love Astronomy and want to share our interest. Furthermore, it may be time to consider re-starting the magazine, or a similar one geared to ATM folk. Robert Duvall
