[ATM] What book to read to guide the ATM

  Chris,  My favorite book with the most recent info is Mel Bartel's 
sugestion of "a manual for amateur telescope makers" by Karine and Jean-Marc 
Lecleire.. copyrite is 2003 not 1903.. Maybe I mis-read the text and Mel 
suggested " How to make a telescope" by Jean Texereau  copyrites
1919,1951,1961, english..1957 This is a good book but as you can see from 
the dates...old..
  Both books have tremendous information and go really deep into this 
amazing journey, The newer book has really great photos to help explain
