My favorite technique for making flat low resistance conductors is to lay
down some 3M copper tape. 3M copper tape can be soldered to and comes with
either a nonconductive or conductive adhesive backing. 3m copper tape is
great stuff for making an instant ground plane and "dead bugging" or just
covering the vane of a spider with a thin low resistance power path. See:
