Re: [ATM] Looking for information on a telescope design



Jarvis,
I've seen a number of Springfield mounts in books and on the Internet, but
I've not seen any that were very transportable. I don't think many of us are
trying to reinvent the wheel, we're just having fun making the wheel better,
one mistake at a time!

I'll have to browse the book to see if I've missed any good ideas.

It's time to stop trying to reinvent the wheel.  This sounds like a job
for "Super-, I mean Springfield Mount Man".  Refer back to the original
Amateur Telescope Making book 1 for many variations.
