[ATM] wire size for dew circuit

I don't know the numbers involved, or what to do with them if I had them,
but hopefully someone is familiar enough to give me a quick 'yay' or
'nay'.
The Astrosystems secondary dew circuit, is it ok to use the small phone
wires, like inside a CAT5 cable, to power this guy?  Other than that I
have huge 18 ga wire which I know is way overkill.

This to me (the phone wires) would be ideal for running along a spider
vane as far as least intrusion into the light path.  As long as it can
handle the wattage, does anyone know?
