Re: [ATM] We must Inspire!

<< Im sick!, of people "pushing" the reasoning around that you have
to-be a "Veteran" of "so-so-many-mirrors" to make a "great-optic",,
HORSE-PICKY!!!!!!
IF YOUR NEW, DON'T buy into this!! YOU can make a "Mirror That's beyond
reproach AND THE FIRST-TIME TOO!!!!!! IF! You want it bad-enough!, you
CAN DO-IT!!! >>

John, It sounded O.K. to me!!! <G>

I'd like to add my kopek's worth:

I've made a bunch of mirrors. The grinding is the easy part. Grind
more, worry less! Polishing can be tough, but managable. Polish
completely, DON'T test!  The real trial is the figuring.  Figure slowly;
test often.

I've seen a 10 year old boy make a 1/10 wave 8" on his first try. I've
seen a 75 year old man make a 10 inch for his grandkids, first try. As
rare as it is, I've even seen a few females, young and old, working
glass. Anyone cam do it. You don't need to be a veteran or an expert.
Just get in there and do it. That goes for just about anything in life.

DON'T GET DISCOURAGED!!! There is plenty of help on ths list. There
are some folks who will scream that you should look in the archives, but
others of us will help regardless of the questions, especially if we
know you are a beginner.
