Re: [ATM] How would you mount a secondary in a LHN?

I haven't ever done this, so my advice may not carry huge weight, but
I'll make a suggestion anyhow.

The main reason for a stalk mounting is to avoid spider diffraction.
Over the last decade, atm's have demonstrated that a wire spider can
greatly reduce the magnitude of spider diffraction. This approach
avoids the hazardous process of boring holes in the correctors and the
structural difficulties of: 1. using the corrector as a structural
element in bending; 2. creating a structurally stiff and well aligned
secondary mounting without stressing the corrector.
