My biggest objection to bubble wrap is that the bubbles aren't
all filled the same so the forces on the mirror won't be even and
thus you will deform the mirror.  Think of how independent points
act upon a piece of glass vs. dependent points like a wiffletree
arrangement and you will see the folly of trying bubblewrap.
