[ATM] A reminder about atmsite.org
www.atmsite.org exists to host atm related material that has no other
home on the www. The original intent was to host material that atm's
had put up on a web site, but were no longer able to keep on line. That
intent has broadened somewhat to include material that has never been on
line, but the author hasn't got a server to put it on, or perhaps
doesn't know how to do it.
So, if you have atm related material on line that is losing it's home,
or not on line, but you would like to see it put on line, let us know.

Also, if you have material on your site, that is linked to at
atmsite.org, and your url changes, please let us know so we can fix our
link.
We really encourage authors who have their own web sites and ask us to
link to them, to give us a copy of their material as a back up, and
permission to make it public if their site goes down. If you are in
that class, and haven't given us a copy of your stuff, please consider
sending us a copy, or telling us it is OK to make a copy ourselves.
If you have material at atmsite.org, or linked to at atmsite.org, please
send us your current email address once in a while so we can contact you
if need be. The contact link is on atmsite's home page. It only takes
a minute to do.
I have also been willing to do a little HTML editing for atm's who have
material to share, but don't know how to whip it into shape for the web.
This is on a time and energy available basis. One hint: please don't
send me HTML files generated by MS-Word. You would not believe how
awful a mess MS-Word makes of HTML. I would rather start from a plain
text file and separate image files and do the whole thing myself than
try to straighten out Microsoft's perverted use of HTML.
