Really?  I thought the danger was the lap being to large, and 
overhanging the edge of the mirror when it is being pressed.  I've been 
keeping it trimmed maybe 1 mm smaller than the mirror on all sides.  
Should I not be trimming it this much?

     I think I know what Jerry is talking about but forget exactly how it
works. I don't think 1MM is too much, probably good.
