Is a CCD connected more or less directly to a projector
too complicated?
Part of the problem here will be contrast. You need a place
that is very dark. For the Sun, I think projecting the disk
up to 30 or 40 cm diameter is not a big deal, the moon maybe
6 or 8 cm, Jupiter maybe 2 or 3 cm. Saturn is already getting
faint even with the eye directly at the eyepiece when going
for higher magnification. That is really general remark.
