Re: [ATM] Al Spherical Telescopes
There have been two magazines that have been done for the ATMer.
The first, Amateur Telescope Making, went to 46 issues and was
originally published through Kalmback Publising. The second
magazine, Amateur Telescope Making Journal ran to 18 issues and
was published out of Washington state by Bill Cook (an occasional
lurker on this group).
I believe that Willmann-Bell has publ9ished the ATMJ in a book
form which means that there will be a much larger spread of the
contents of that magazine series for a much longer period of time
for a much larger audience.
I'll note that getting the Willmann-Bell catalog will be an
eyeopener ofr those that don't have much access to optical stuff.
In addition, the used booksellers are starting to really get
online in a big way and there are dedicated search engines just
for these places - www.bookfinder.com is one.
