[ATM] relation between coefficient of cubical expansion andresidual stress

Hi there,
 
     Thanks Richard for those suggestions in your last mail..proved quite helpful..i wanted to know whether any relation has been established between the residual stress and coefficient of cubical expansion of material (beta).
 
I know one can calculate stress when there is a mismatch in coefficient of thermal expansion, using basic equation stress = delta (alpha) * delta (temperature),
 
Is there any equation where i can relate beta with residual stress...
