As a professional woodworker, I can tell you it's safe to listen to anything Dan F has to say. But here's another good reason to select a P-C router: parts and accessories availability. The P-C's are by far the easiest to obtain guide bushings, fence guides, that sorta thing for, plus replacement parts are likewise easy to locate. All are fine machines, but this gives P-C the edge for my money.
