  You know, they still sell 486 computers for embedded systems. 
Basicly a computer you can fit in your pocket. They also have
the low end 586 (PI and PII's) as well.

  I've been thinking about getting one to use to control
one of my scopes using Mel's design. (another project
I've got on the back burner.... After I finish the 12.5"
scope)
