Hi, I have heard of the story. The beauty of this posts/plates
design is that it is immune to printrough problems, as has
been demonstrated by the tens of mirrors made so far.

Mounting the mirror is also much simplified, no need for 3 levels 54
points nightmare cell. The mirror has enough rigidity to hold its
figure with a simple central support point in the backplate.

Wonder why it was not recognized before ?

And think about fast cool down to ambient temperature...
