It is possible to split the feedback with the high speed quad detector/
intensifier into two separate control systems. The motors that slew the
scope could be controlled with the lower frequency feedback though a LPF
while the higher frequency  feedback, though a HPF, drives a high speed
tilt-tip mirror compliantly mounted and voice coil or piezo driven.
