Richard has an extremely well developed sense of humor. I liken 
him to being the Astronomical equivalent to the famous satirist,  
Mort Sahl. 

Like Sahl, for us to really enjoy Richard, we have to remember 
that he is:

a: a humorist,
b: pretty sharp and
c: that satire is hard when you only have words to play with.

Why is it that no one is willing to take Richard face value?   
And if you are one of those disposed to 'explain' Richard to me 
as is often the case, don't bother.
