RE: [ATM] re: electro plating nickel
In one of the articles from Scientific American from about 1930 or 1940,
they talk about using stainless for a mirror. The one thing I remember is
the statement, "lead is to stainless as pitch is to glass". I will try
and find the article on my CDRom of such things and I will post it.
BTB: Based on the post by Mel with his discussions with Waineo, I suspect
the real issue is preventing loose grit.
