RE: [ATM] re: electro plating nickel



I've made metal mirrors by grinding an Aluminum substrate to approx 15
micron, then having is thickly coated with electroless nickel.  Then grind
an polish the nickel.

Be warned, successfully polishing a metal substrate is not for the faint of
heart......
