I'd start using some rouge to get rid of that dogbuscuit that you are
showing.  The finer action with probably about 10 strokes at a time should
clean up that problem without affecting the figure too much.
I've seen that dogbuscuit is a problem with plateglass mirrors and have some
of the rouge on hand to fix that problem when the figuring is started.
Just wash the tool and spread the rouge on the tool as you would with the
CeO that you have been using.
