Hi Tom,
I live north of Houston. Last night was amazing.  57% humidity. 64 degree
dew point. Ambient temp in the mid 70's.  I had the scope out till 10:00
without dew problems.  this was a rare night.  Usdually the dew here is in
the 90% range. With dew points only a few degrees below ambient temperature.
I have tried a 6 inch extension on my finder.  It didn't work when the
humidity was high.  I am either going to get dew heaters installed or build
an observatory.  Thanks for the reponse.
