Don,

Could I use a modification of this circuit to control a fan used to
cool the mirror? I am thinking of active cooling with a "damp sponge"
attached to the back of the mirror and a fan blowing over it. I did
some tests a while ago with a fan and digital thermometer, and the damp
sponge approach cools mirrors very quickly but can overshoot--and thus
dew out your primary.
