I do agree, maybe the first thing to do before trying to put electricity in
my aluminium is to shroud correctly the tube (or at least the bottompart)

It is not so stiff, you can easily bend it. In fact at first I had built a
1.5 mm piano wire support, but when I put the mirror on it, the piano bent
at 90°... gloupps!!! I think the 2 mm is necessary for my mirror. Maybe
1.5mm could have been OK if the wire would be less long??
