The thing here is to just balance the parts which shouldn't take too much
time and the problems go away if you think that you have one.
I do consider working in stainless steel to be a bit of overkill for
strength tho. The stuff is also a pain to work with due to the work
hardening from the heat of cutting and also from the galling of the stuff
when you put two pieces together. Even mild steel works better. Powder
coating the stuff afterwords will make the steel just as weatherproof as the
stainless would be.
